Baby Blessing - The Hinojosa’s new baby is coming soon!  We are preparing to celebrate baby’s arrival and you are invited to a “Baby Blessing”.  Join Pastor and Abbey on Sunday, July 19 at 5pm for Dinner, fun and fellowship!  Bring a package of diapers (any size) for a chance to win a special prize!  All are invited to join in this fun afternoon as the countdown to baby’s due date approaches. Please sign up in the narthex or text Sandy Blair with your RSVP. See the attached invitation!

 

Mid-Week Worship continues on June 17.  Join us at 7pm for a short worship time followed by a Bible study. This is a great opportunity to add to your time spent in the faith! Talk with Pastor Hinojosa if you have any questions.

 

Father’s Day is next Sunday. Please return AWPC baby bottles whether they are filled or not. It’s a great way to be a blessing and share the importance of fathers in children’s lives from their beginning. Thank you for your support of this ministry at Another Way Pregnancy Center.

 

Our next work morning in June 20!  There is always lots to do!  Men are welcome to join us for Breakfast and Bible Study beginning at 8:15 then work starts around 9:30. Make it a plan to join us for all the fun. Talk with Pastor Hinojosa or Mark Wells with any questions.

 

Little Disciples Summer Gatherings - You and your children are invited to join us this summer at Prince of Peace for activities, fellowship, and worship. Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd at 9 AM for our first gathering. We will have a short worship service, planned activities/crafts for the kids, and time for fellowship for children and parents. Keep an eye out for future dates and please contact Pastor if you have any questions, we look forward to seeing you there!

 

June Movie Night will be on Friday the 26th at 5pm.  Join us for Sarah’s Oil- The remarkable true story of young girl named Sarah Rector, who in the early 1900s believes there is oil beneath the land she's allotted and whose faith is proven right. Join us for free pizza dinner.  All are welcome.

 

DECONSECRATION SERVICE THIS SUNDAY at 3 p.m. - You are invited to the Deconsecration Service of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity at Concordia Ann Arbor this Sunday (June 14) at 3 p.m. The campus will be open for all visitors beginning at 1 p.m. Please RSVP your attendance. RSVP here  We have learned that the University is planning for overflow attendance. Please arrive early to allow time for parking and seating. Following the Service, an ice cream social will be held at St. Paul Lutheran School just up the road (495 Earhart Rd, Ann Arbor; follow the signs on the road), sponsored by St. Paul and the Michigan District. You may park at the CUAA stadium, at the school, or at the District office.

 

June 25—Forever Young: Matthaei Botanical Gardens Forever Young is headed to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens! Join the group to experience the beauty of nature on Thurs, Jun 25. For only $8/person, each participant gains admission to the conservatory and makes a contribution toward parking. A rideshare will leave Christ Our Savior in Livonia at 10:15am. Following the tour of the gardens, those interested are invited for lunch at Sidetrack Bar & Grill (56 East Cross St, Ypsilanti). July 16—Forever Young: Belle Isle Park Picnic -Join us as we enjoy the Belle Isle Park together from 11am to 3pm. Bring your own Lunch. $20 Per Person - includes bus transportation, State Park access, and reserved Pavilion with Picnic Tables.
