We did it!-Through the tremendous blessing of a LCMS National Development Grant of $7,000 we have been able to serve more, share more, volunteer more and most importantly, spread the Gospel to MORE!  What an amazing 18 months!  With this grant we have been able to serve dinners and lunches at Family of God in Detroit. We have served well over 2,500 meals!  Dinners and Lunches to help feed the body, and through cooperation with the Pastors at FoG, we have fed the soul through Bible study and prayer!  It is such a blessing to be a part of a ministry that means so much to the people that they serve. We can’t thank enough all our volunteers who have made this a reality.  Our congregation may be small but we can do big things through Him.  A special thank you to Sandy Blair and Sharon Moses for working together to help manage the grant and provide as many opportunities as possible to serve out there!

Please keep the Family of God ministry in your prayers as we move forward!  To keep our momentum going, you can prayerfully consider making a donation to our designated Family of God account or contact Sandy or Sharon and see about volunteering!  We serve dinners on the third Monday of each month and we are continuing to serve lunches monthly, as needed.
