PoP Night at the Movies for July is the film, Song Sung Blue- A movie about a Neil Diamond tribute act who experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together. Join us for this free dinner and a movie on Friday, July 31. The fun starts at 5pm.

Volunteering opportunities!

• Are you interested in church safety?  Prince of Peace is establishing a House of Worship Security Committee to ensure that our building is safe!  Talk with Mark Wells if you have any questions or would like to help!
• We are looking for someone (or a few someone’s) to help us in generating additional income for PoP. We already take part in the benefits of participating in the Kroger Community Rewards program, and are needing help with finding more opportunities and setting up accounts and/or scheduling participation events. Please talk with Pastor Hinojosa or Laura in the church office if you are interested.

Coming up in September:  Sunday school is making it’s return!  Are you interested in helping our youngest members learn about our amazing Lord?  Talk with Pastor Hinojosa and learn all the details!  Beginning in September we will begin offering Sunday School and Bible Study after worship in addition to our early morning Adult Bible study at 8:30am.  If you have any questions see Pastor today!

CEF Ministry Partner Bonus Grant Open NOW! – Church Extension Fund is celebrating 125 years of Building God’s Kingdom! Christmas in July. This is when summer clearance continues and back-to-school sales begin. Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes might seem like months away, but it’s time to collect items before they are gone. Think sun! Think fun! (Flip-flops, sunglasses, water bottles, beach toys, water toys, etc.) Switch aisles for crayons, notebooks, pencils, erasers, scissors, etc. Be blessed as you shop to bless others. Thanks for your support in reaching out to kids around the world with the love of Jesus.

Little Disciples Summer Gatherings – Our next meeting is on August 25 at 9am! Special thanks to all our wonderful volunteers who helped. Share this opportunity with the little ones in your life and have them join us again in August. Sunday, September 27—Forever Young sees Farmington Players: Forever Young will be headed to the Farmington Players playhouse (32332 West Twelve Mile Rd Farmington Hills) to watch the 2pm play "The Haunting of Hill House"—"A chilling and mystifying study in mounting terror in which a small group of “psychically receptive" people are brought together in Hill House, a brooding, mid-Victorian mansion known as a place of evil and “contained ill will." Coming up in August!  Our friends at Maranatha Evangelical Ministries are hosting a Praise Concert on August 14^th at 7pm right here in our PoP Community Center!  Come out and enjoy some amazing live music and fun fellowship!

Christ Our Savior is hosting GriefShare-  Are you, or do you know someone who is in need of some extra care through their grief journey?
