Peace Notes

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

November 1, 2026

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend. -Clocks “fall-back”!  Enjoy that extra hour of sleep and be sure to join us for worship!

Next Month- on November 8 we will be having our next Voters’ meeting immediately following worship. Please plan to join us for this important meeting.  Sunday School will still be held for the kids!  Talk with Pastor Hinojosa if you have any questions.

Prince of Peace is hosting a seminary student on Sunday, November 8.  Come and meet a seminary student from Fort Wayne as he shares information about his life and learning in our Bible study hour and celebrates worship with Pastor Hinojosa.  We will be collecting a free will offering to help support his training.

It’s almost shoe packing time! This week we include prayers for all the congregations that will be involved this month with this children’s mission project. The age groups that receive the least are ages 2-4 yrs old and 12-14 yrs old. Could you please help to target one of those age groups and donate a “wow” gift as suggested online at samaritanspurse.org under Operation Christmas Child. Thank you for your participation. November 15 is the date to keep open to help pack shoeboxes here.

God blessed the AWPC fall banquet with a great speaker and generous giving. A goal of raising $150,000 towards ministry needs was surpassed with more than $180,000 in donations. What a big blessing for this pregnancy center and its clients! Next opportunity to support the center will be for their Christmas Blessing for families on Dec. 17th.

Our next Little Disciples get together will be on November 9 at 9:30am here at Prince of Peace. Talk with Pastor Hinojosa if you have any questions or would like more information about this group!
