Saddle up! May’s Movie Night is on the calendar! Join us on Friday May 29th at 5pm for Walk, Ride. Rodeo. - the story of a courageous teenager who is determined to resume competitive rodeo months after her paralyzing spinal cord injury. This movie, based on a true story, is sure to please. Invite a friend and join us, pizza dinner is provided!
The spring Voters’ meeting is scheduled for Sunday, May 31 immediately following worship. Be sure to put it on your calendar and join us.
Family night is coming up on May 31. Dust off your lawn chair and join us for some hotdogs, smores and fun! All are welcome! We will gather beginning at 5:30pm. Please talk with Sandy Blair if you are interested in bringing a side dish to share!
Mid-Week Worship is starting on June 3. Join us at 7pm for a short worship time followed by a Bible study. This is a great opportunity to add to your time spent in the faith! For the summer, our study time will be focused on Outreach and Evangelism. Talk with Pastor Hinojosa if you have any questions.
Beginning on Sunday June 7, kids (ages 12 and under) are encouraged to stay immediately following worship for a short Sunday School time with Pastor Hinojosa in the sanctuary.
Little Disciples Summer Gatherings - You and your children are invited to join us this summer at Prince of Peace for activities, fellowship, and worship. Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd at 9 AM for our first gathering. We will have a short worship service, planned activities/crafts for the kids, and time for fellowship for children and parents. Keep an eye out for future dates and please contact Pastor if you have any questions, we look forward to seeing you there!
Baby bottles are available for an opportunity to support a mom and her baby through AWPC baby bottle campaign and support the ministry with your loose change or a check. An ultrasound can change a mind of a mother. Pick up your bottle today at the welcome center as we collect until Father’s Day in June. You can make a difference and save life!
Sign up to help us pass our popsicles at the I-9 games that are held on the fields adjacent to our building. See the sign up sheet in the narthex to help and put a “face” on our church to the community. Talk with Ed or Sharon Kaiser if you have any questions.
June 25—Forever Young: Matthaei Botanical Gardens Forever Young is headed to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens! Join the group to experience the beauty of nature on Thurs, Jun 25. For only $8/person, each participant gains admission to the conservatory and makes a contribution toward parking. A rideshare will leave Christ Our Savior in Livonia at 10:15am. Following the tour of the gardens, those interested are invited for lunch at Sidetrack Bar & Grill (56 East Cross St, Ypsilanti). July 16—Forever Young: Belle Isle Park Picnic -Join us as we enjoy the Belle Isle Park together from 11am to 3pm. Bring your own Lunch. $20 Per Person - includes bus transportation, State Park access, and reserved Pavilion with Picnic Tables. Sign-up by contacting Linda Waara (734-245-5733).
