Greeter/ Usher Get Together TODAY!  We have been blessed at Prince of Peace by the many visitors and members that we had not seen for a while that have attended services etc. over the past several months. In order to formalize our Greeter / Usher program we thought it best for us to have a review of responsibilities and encourage new participants to get involved. Thus, on May 5 after services we will present our desires etc. We encourage participation by any and all. Questions?? Leave a message for Charley Staab, at #248-348-2919 and we will get back to you.

Baby Bottles are coming soon!  Be sure to be on the watch for the Another Way Pregnancy Center baby bottle drive.  We host this fundraiser from Mother’s day to Father’s day each year to help and support the work of AWPC as they serve mothers and babies in need!  Bottles will be available beginning on May 12.

The next congregational Voters’ meeting is coming up on Sunday, May 19 immediately following the worship service.  Be sure to make it a point to join us and make your vote count!

May 9— Ascension Day Worship & Dinner We celebrate the Ascension of our Lord as a turning point in history—it marks the end of Jesus’ life on earth and the beginning of The Church. God’s mission moves from the person of Jesus to the work of the Holy Spirit through the body of believers. How is that mission being worked out in our lives today? Come ponder that question during our Ascension Day event at Christ Our Savior Lutheran in Livonia,  on Thursday, May 9. We’ll share a meal at 6 p.m. and afterward join together for worship in the gym and group discussion.

Focus on Life BBQ on Thursday, May 16th (see the attached flyer for specifics). This event will be important for equipping our community with up-to-date knowledge on how to promote and defend the sanctity of human life as well as for raising funds to support pregnant mothers and their children. Join them on May 16 at Church of the Holy Family in Novi.

The Novi Choralaires spring concert, It was all started by a Mouse, 100 years of Movie Magic, will be presented on Saturday, May 11, at Novi Middle School, 49000 West 11 Mile Road, Novi, beginning at 7 pm.  Tickets are $15 for Adults, $10 for Seniors and Students.  Children under 6 are free.  Tickets are available at the door.

Coming up in May at Christ Our Savior.  Join the Forever Young group on May 9 at noon for a unique interactive production of “Henry & Friends: Ford, Edison, Firestone”  The afternoon starts with a lunch ($20 per person) with the presentation following.  Please contact Barb Karowich (734-480-1644) or Linda Waara (734-245-5733) to register or answer questions.
